Jodie spent the first 5 years of her legal career employed by a highly regarded boutique law firm in the Perth CBD before coming home to practice law as a Mandurah local. Since early 2017, Jodie has acted for individuals and businesses in the Mandurah, Pinjarra and Peel Regions in the areas of civil litigation, business and commercial law set out below.

Civil litigation in Supreme, District, Magistrate and Federal Courts
- Contested wills and probate, and family provision claims – if your loved one has passed away, and someone is taking more from your loved one’s estate than seems fair
- Contract disputes –if you have a contract with someone and they are not upholding the agreement
- Lease disputes – if you are a landlord or tenant and you are unhappy with your lease situation
- Consumer and trader claims – if you are unhappy with a product or service you have received
- Debt recovery – if someone owes you money and won’t pay, or someone claims you owe them money and you disagree

Temperance Legal Fees
Temperance Legal charges an initial consultation of 1 hour on your legal matter for a fixed fee of $275 inclusive of GST.
Jodie’s charge out rate after initial consultation is $550 per hour inclusive of GST, plus disbursements, for litigation and court work and can be discussed with Jodie at your initial consultation.
Jodie charges $550 inclusive of GST for a solicitor’s certificate for bank loans and mortgage guarantees, per certificate required, inclusive of a one-hour appointment with Jodie.
Jodie is able to provide agency work for other law firms at an hourly fee to be agreed at the time of engagement.
